Many of you know the story behind the Bike Boy Scandal.

On January 7, 2013 in Blairgowrie, Victoria, 15-year-old Ryan Meuleman was nearly killed when he was struck by an SUV driven by either Daniel Andrews or his wife, Catherine Kesik. For over a decade, they denied responsibility—claiming Ryan ran into the side of their vehicle. That was false. Evidence now shows the vehicle hit Ryan, yet no criminal charges have ever been laid.

Meanwhile, Daniel Andrews is also facing public backlash for what many see as human rights breaches and dishonesty during the world’s harshest COVID lockdowns.

TONE-DEAF PREMIER

Despite all this, Premier Jacinta Allan refuses to deny plans to spend over $100,000 in taxpayer money on a bronze statue of Daniel Andrews. It’s an insult to Victorians—especially when serious, unresolved matters remain. No living politician deserves that kind of tribute, let alone one facing this level of public scrutiny.

That’s why I started this petition to cancel the statue.

CRIMINAL CHARGES ON THE HORIZON FOR DANIEL ANDREWS

Today’s update: Ryan Meuleman is now preparing to bring a private criminal prosecution against Daniel Andrews. The case will be independently mounted, and the family is determined to see it through—either through the DPP (unlikely, due to potential conflict with Victoria Police) or through the courts via private prosecution.

They’ve launched a new GoFundMe to help cover legal costs, expert reports, and admin expenses. If you’d like to support the case, here’s the link:

(And just a tip: slide the GoFundMe “tip” option all the way to the left so your full donation goes to the case.)

Thanks for standing with Ryan—and for helping stop this statue.
