A heartfelt thank you to each supporter who signed the petition. If you haven't had the chance yet, I encourage you to add your name. We missed the last sitting of Parliament, but I will be working to have an MP sponsor an official Parliamentary petition in the new year.

What are the chances the statue will be cancelled?

Honestly, I’m not sure. If we had reached 100,000+ signatures, then that would capture media attention and potentially pressure the Allan Government to reconsider spending over $100,000 of our money on a monument to a tyrant and human rights violator.

I understand the desire to move on, but I know many lives—including families, jobs, friendships, and personal relationships—were adversely affected by Daniel Andrews' callous actions.

We have until February 2025 to make our voices heard. I am an optimist and at the same time, a realist. Aiming for 100,000+ signatures on an issue that the media has buried (for now) is a big expectation. It could be simply that the petition needs to be shared outside the usual circles.
