Here is the reality of the timeline we are facing:August 14 Deadline: This is the hard cutoff date when the new sponsor must legally submit their expansion paperwork to the State of Oregon.August 21 Announcement: The state will not officially name the sponsor or release the signup instructions until August 21.Why we need you to keep signing right now:Negotiations are happening behind closed doors this week before that August 14 contract deadline. We need to push our numbers as high as possible—our goal is 200 signatures—to prove to the incoming sponsor that Coos County is an organized, high-demand market worth investing in.If people stop signing, the state might think the panic is over and slow down the paperwork.
