Dear AB 1575 supporters, The California Healthy Nail Salon Collaborative's (Collaborative: www.cahealthynailsalons.org) thanks all of the AB 1575 organizational and individual supporters. Unfortunately the bill did not make it all the way. After advancing throughout the Assembly, passing two Senate policy committees, the bill fell short in the Senate Appropriations Committee. It is an indication that we need to build stronger support networks and fight harder to make the changes we want to see in the nail salon industry. FIGHT WITH US! One way you can do that is by signing this online pledge card: Our Integrated Voter Engagement program has been collecting voter pledge cards with more issues than the ingredient labelling topic alone. The more support we're able to get from registered voters on our issues helps us build power and make stronger cases to public officials for making change.
