Sidewalk Addition to Reduce Emission

Sidewalk Addition to Reduce Emission
The Issue
Narrow Port Angeles roads are functional for cars but hazardous for bikers and pedestrians on foot. In some subdivisions commuting to the city center would be feasible only by way of vehicle.
This petition is to add a stretch of sidewalk at the intersection of Rook Dr. and S. Mount Angeles Rd. until Olympus Street and S. Mount Angeles Rd. (where newer sidewalk construction has recently ended).
This would open up a safe means of commuting for several neighborhoods in the area without the need for automobiles.
Furthermore, reduction in emissions at a local level can help prevent increasing temperature worldwide, felt especially in the PNW the last few years.
