Shea's Tavern is a business at the heart of our Midtown Reno community. In recent years, the establishment has shown a concerning amount of racism, violence and drug-related activity, which has resulted in undeniable harm to the community, including loss of life. This facility has become a hotspot for illegal activities including drug misuse, gun violence and violent behavior in general.

Regrettably, our community has faced numerous casualties because of this.

It's time we put an end to this disturbing trend and shut down this business. Gun violence and drug-associated crimes have increased in Midtown Reno; this is not only locals' perception, but a horrifying reality (source: Reno Police Department 2020 reports).

A safer community is our right, and a necessity for the wellbeing and development of our neighborhood. 

To protect our community, we demand the closure of this business.
