Shut Down SAE Texas RHOgue

Shut Down SAE Texas RHOgue
The Issue
As members and students of the University of Texas community, we are deeply disturbed by the actions exhibited by a particular rogue "frat". This group's behavior is not representative of our values, nor does it reflect the principles upon which our institution was founded. We believe in fostering an environment that promotes respect, integrity, and inclusivity - all things this rogue fraternity has shown disregard for.
Austin is home to more than 50 fraternities and sororities, each contributing positively to our community (Sorority & Fraternity Life). However, this specific fraternity has consistently acted against these ideals. Their actions have caused distress among students and residents alike.
They have repeatedly shown through their actions and behaviors that they have ZERO remorse or accountability within their group. Including all of their alumni, who have repeatedly written checks to bail them out.
We urge the individual Greek councils, university administration, and City of Austin to take immediate action against this group. By doing so, they can send a clear message that such behavior will not be tolerated within our community.
There are several headlines, news articles, reports on file with the University, and past actions (severe hazing, sexual assault, physical abuse and harm) that clearly show that this group has no interest in being accountable or compliant for their actions. It's up to all of us to draw attention to this and put a stop to it.
Let us stand together as a united front against such disruptive elements in our community. Let us show them that we value respect over recklessness and unity over division. Sign this petition to shut down this unruly fraternity and distance them from what we all stand for and believe on the 40 acres!
Here are some examples of their flagrant behaviors:
