Shut Down/Relocate Hazardous RMC Plant Near Homes in Sector 69, Gurugram
Shut Down/Relocate Hazardous RMC Plant Near Homes in Sector 69, Gurugram
The Issue
Residents of Sector 69, Gurugram, including Tulip Yellow, Tulip Lemon, Tulip Violet, and nearby residential societies are facing a serious and ongoing public health crisis.
A Ready Mix Concrete (RMC) plant is operating in extremely close proximity to our homes, exposing thousands of residents to:
Continuous cement dust pollution
Respiratory illnesses, allergies, and breathing difficulties
Noise pollution affecting daily life and well-being
Children, senior citizens, and individuals with pre-existing health conditions are especially vulnerable.
This situation raises serious concerns regarding compliance with environmental and zoning regulations. Residential areas are not meant to be exposed to such industrial activity at this scale.
Our Demands
We urge immediate intervention from the concerned authorities:
Immediate inspection by Haryana State Pollution Control Board
Public disclosure of environmental clearances and compliance status
Immediate suspension and relocation of the RMC plant away from residential zones
Implementation of strict penalties for any violations found
Why This Matters
Clean air is a basic right—not a privilege. The continued operation of this plant in a residential zone is putting thousands of lives at risk every single day.
We, as responsible citizens, demand urgent and decisive action before this turns into a larger public health emergency.
