Hello, I am petitioning for Facebook to be shut down permanently. I & many others feel that it needs to go & be banned here in the United states it is already banned in many other countries & there are a lot of issues regarding Facebook like for one they don't even have a live customer support team to handle problems. There's a lot of bullying, harassment, stalking, Fake pages, hate speech, humiliation, people who get on to attack others, people who get on to shame & embarrass others, impersonation, inappropriate content, posting other peoples private business without permission. Even if we don't have a Facebook page personally other people are allowed to keep posting us on there & it's incredibly hard to get things removed off there. Many people are not even using Facebook for the reason it was created to be used, they aren't using it to connect with family or friends but moreso to spread hate, jealousy, insecurity, violence, competition, drama, chaos, lies, rumors, scams, fraud, false narratives & a load of other negative/toxic reasons. Also for those who are trying to avoid certain individuals or dealing with trauma you are kind of forced to keep reliving stuff cause Facebook/social media is an open door for abusers to continue bothering you, Even if you block people they just create another page & you can't stop anyone from messaging you, People cannot even heal in peace because some are using Facebook/social media as a source to come against others.

Whoever can ban it need to get rid of Facebook & not just Facebook but all social media needs to go. You don't even really have freedom of speech on there regarding certain topics without getting locked in FB jail but they allow all these others things? It's taking over many people don't even have a life outside of Facebook/social media, it's addicting & hard to break the addiction for many, children don't even play outside anymore, adults are consumed by it & don't even have mature lives anymore, People don't even talk or connect in real life anymore because everything is done on social media now, people don't spend real time together due to this. People don't even have good communication skills or socializing skills anymore in this generation due to this social media era & it needs to end, This makes it hard for survivors to stay free from domestic violence abusers, family abusers or any other type of abusers. People use it to tare others down, to tare celebrities down, to tare public figures down or anyone whose trying to do something influential & it makes some people even want to commit suicide or homicide & SOME DO. Y'all have to see all the problems social media/Facebook has caused. It destroys marriages, some people's work, some people image. It makes many of our youth feel insecure & insignificant in a world where everyone's looking on these platforms to compare their self to the next in competition. Why are we as a society living like this don't you miss when life was much simpler without all of this? Yes, I know there would still be problems in the world even without social media but social media contributes to a lot of it & has made some of these things easier for abusers, narcissists & toxic people it's giving any & everyone a platform & let's be honest everyone shouldn't have a platform cause some aren't using it for a good cause.
