The Issue

My son, Mitchell, a 28-year-old veteran Sgt Knaus, lost his life heroically steering a malfunctioning banner plane away from populated areas in Hollywood, Florida. The aircraft he was piloting wouldn't climb properly due to maintenance issues. Despite the imminent danger to his own life, Mitchell made every effort to divert the plane from crashing into nearby buildings. At 400 ft above ground level, the plane took a nose-dive onto a street resulting in my son's tragic death.

This incident is not an isolated case but reflects an ongoing issue with Aerial Banners and their negligent maintenance of aircrafts. According to Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) reports over the past decade, there have been numerous incidents involving banner planes due to poor maintenance practices with this company Aerial Banners.

The loss of my son has left an unfillable void in our lives and we do not want any other family to experience this pain due to negligence on part of businesses like Aerial Banners. We call for immediate action from local authorities and FAA officials - we demand that they shut down operations at Aerial Banners until they can prove that their aircraft are safe and well-maintained.

Please join us in our fight for justice for Mitchell by signing this petition today. Let's ensure no more lives are lost due to such avoidable negligence.
