Our beautiful town is looking tatty, messy and lawless because a couple of people have been illegally putting flags on lampposts. It seems that Shropshire Council and Shrewsbury Town Council have done nothing to address this. They haven’t even removed the tatty disrespectful mess on our own flagpole outside Shirehall. The people vandalising our town to make a hateful political point have been quite brazen but it seems no steps to enforce the law have been taken. Councillors need to address this issue urgently.
