Ex Paramiltary veterans delegation met to Hon'ble state Finance Minister Dr Bhagwat Kishanrao Karad

On behalf of the Confederation of Ex-Paramilitary Forces Welfare Association, a memorandum was handed over to Hon'ble state Finance Minister Dr. Bhagwat Kishanrao Karad ji.

While issuing a press release, General Secretary Ranbir Singh requested the Hon'ble Minister of State for Finance to open paramilitary schools in the state capitals in the name of Sardar Patel, as it is known that during the last budget session, Hon'ble Finance Minister Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman Announced 100 new Sainik Schools for the Army. On the lines of Army Flag Day, an appeal was made to create Ardh Sanik Flag Day "Fund" so that the money deposited in the fund could be used for rehabilitation and welfare schemes for war widows, Veer-Nari, serving and retired families of paramilitary forces.

Sh Gautam Ashok Rao Gaikwad, the newly elected President of the Confederation of Ex-Paramilitary Force Welfare Association Aurangabad, included in the delegation, raised the issue of exemption from house tax with the Minister of State for Finance and also stressed on the establishment of Paramilitary Welfare Boards in the states on the lines of Sainik Welfare Board.

The order of the Ministry of Home Affairs of 23 November 2012 in which the State Governments were directed to give ex-man status to paramilitary forces on the lines of army, it is sad to say that no state has implemented except Goa Diu Daman. There is great anger in the lakhs of paramilitary families. To implement the above orders, the central government does not need any special big budget, but will power is needed.

Ranbir Singh expressed fully hope that this time the Hon'ble Prime Minister will declare the old pension restoration and other beneficial schemes for paramilitary forces on August 15 from the ramparts of the Red Fort. This will be the true tribute to the Galwan and Pulwama martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the nation.
