It is common for vaping companies to target teens with colors and references to games or TV shows. This makes them buy vapes without being informed of the the problems of vaping or if it is addicting. This is very harmful to children and can affect them for the rest of their lives.

We surveyed 21 people at our school and we found that 42.9% of them have seen a vape advertisement, and 57.1% of kids think that if companies did not offer flavored vapes, teens probably wouldn't vape.

The vape pods in vapes contain carcinogens (cancer causing chemicals), that can give teens problems later in life. It also contains Nickel, Tin and Lead, which are all metals that are going in their lungs! It can also cause worse breathing short term, and it can slow brain development if used at a severe amount.

Because of these advertisements, vaping in high schools is more common than vaping in adults, so please, sign our petition. If we get enough signatures, we plan to email vaping companies to get them to stop making these harmful advertisements. I hope now you understand the true depth of this situation.
