Should juveniles charged as adults be given a chance to parole?

The Issue

In June 2019, Illinois legislators enacted a juvenile parole board for people that were charged before the age of 21. However, juveniles that were automatically sentenced as adults between the years of 1998 - 2019 are excluded from juvenile parole.

Should the juveniles from the excluded, prior years be given a chance to show their rehabilitation before a review board as well? Please sign this petition if you agree that they also deserve a chance at parole.
