I would also like to bring attention to a good point brought up in the comments, which is just elaborating on how hard masks are to obtain right now, and how close to the school year this policy was introduced. The most likely place people are to buy plain masks is online, and online orders take shipping. Due to the virus, shipping delays are much more common. The high demand for masks means masks may take longer to receive. Thus, limiting what masks students can wear increases the likelihood they may not even have a mask by the time school starts.

Remember, you can fight this policy! Keep sharing, the more signatures we have the more people can see our push against this. Stay safe! Don’t restrict masks based on color!
