R E M I N D E R !!!!! PUBLIC HEARING ON THE FIREARM DISCHARGE MAP SET FOR WEDNESDAY, FEBUARY 5, 2025 AT THE PENFIELD TOWN HALL!

Thank you to all of you who have signed our petition.  We now have over 715 signatures, but we still need your support!

On February 5, 2025 at their Legislative session starting at 6:30 p.m. at the Penfield Town Hall, the town will be holding a public hearing on the Firearm Discharge Map.  If you would like the changes that we have presented to become a reality it is absolutely CRITICAL that you show your support by attending the hearing and making your voice heard!  If you are unable to personally attend, please send your statement supporting the petition via email to the Penfield Town Clerk, Amy Steklof at steklof@penfield.org and ask that it be read at the meeting. The town has advised us that they will only accept signatures from those residents who live within the town.  We feel this is unethical and intend to challenge them on this issue, however, we cannot emphasize enough that if we do not get sufficient support for our cause, either in person at the meeting, with an email or with phone call, it will in all likelihood be eliminated from any further discussions.
