The small coastal villages of Bawley Point, Kioloa and Termeil are being negatively altered by the continued over-development of rural land at Willinga Park.

Now Capital Property Corporation, as owners of Willinga Park, seek to amend the Shoalhaven Local Environment Plan 2014 (SLEP 2014) to make a “function centre” an “additional permitted use” at Willinga Park. The site is currently zoned as RU2 – Rural Landscape. Function centres are strictly prohibited on RU2 - Rural Landscape land across the Shoalhaven.

This means an extra 700+ non-resident cars per week (36,400+ per year), plus staff and continued construction traffic, on our roads jeopardising the safety of walkers and cyclists (especially our children), damaging the roads at ratepayers expense and creating a huge increase in traffic and noise pollution through our villages every day.

At what point do the residents of Bawley Point, Kioloa and Termeil get a voice in how our communities are being forever altered by over-development.
