I have received the following from the shire:
"

The Council has applied to the State Government Growing Suburbs Fund (GSF) to construct:

-          Trail, boardwalk, and bridge infrastructure connecting Hazelvale Road and Mt Morton Road.

-          Mt Morton Road car park upgrades.

-          Interactive wetlands.

 

Council Officers have assessed the site and, should the GSF application be unsuccessful, have prepared plans for an interim connecting trail.  I will keep you informed regarding the outcome of Council’s GSF application and next steps when information comes to hand."

I believe now it is only a matter of time before this path is built.
Keep your eyes peeled!  I may well see you along there in the future!
