The Warilla Lake South Gorilla’s facilities at Cec Glenholmes Oval are outdated, unappealing and uninviting. The club house facilities have not been updated in over 50 years. We put it to our local government to give us a grant to alter our grounds. However, we were unsuccessful in our pursuit. We are putting our foot down, enough is enough, Warilla Gorillas deserve better. 

Not only do our club players deserve better but so do our Group 7 competitors (opposition), spectators, families and executive. 

The players dressing rooms are small, non functioning (showers), do not have toilets and flood extremely easy. The spectators/visitors toilets are also small. There is absolutely no shade or undercover areas for spectators and the seating is falling apart. The grounds NEED a makeover. We need better toilets, awnings/shade, dressing sheds, seating, canteen/club house etc. 

Please sign this petition if you believe our club NEEDS a serious update. Let’s get thousands of signatures to take to Shellharbour City Council and demand our grant. If you have attended our grounds as a spectator, family member, player, executive etc you will know how seriously run down and outdated we are compared to clubs such as Shellharbour Sharks, Shellharbour Stingrays, Albion Park etc. Please help us.
