Dear supporters. SORT has been invited to take part in a Highways Tree Advisory forum this Thursday, 23 July, from 5pm - 7pm, at the Town Hall. Please come and support us and help save Sheffield trees! 19,425 of Sheffield's Street Trees are earmarked for 'replacement'. This Forum is not in the format that we would have wished: SCC have set the agenda and they are chairing it. There are also a LOT of Amey officials, SCC legal staff and SCC Comms staff. Whilst we would like to think that this will give us an opportunity for meaningful discussion, we will be arguably outweighed by SCC's show of power on this day. We therefore NEED YOU TO COME TO THE TOWN HALL THIS THURS and come armed with questions for Amey officials. This may be our only chance to hold Amey to account - or otherwise, it could turn into a PR-exercise for the benefit of SCC and Amey. COME MAKE YOUR VOICE HEARD THIS THURSDAY - THIS MAY BE OUR LAST CHANCE!!
