Councillors are the members of local council that represent your ward. There are usually three members. These are different to your MPs who work for the government, down in London. Once again, find out who your councillors are here: https://www.sheffield.gov.uk/your-city-council/roles-who/mps.html. Lobby them to push for a Scrutiny Board Review at the debate next Wed 1st July. Amey is half way through the initial 5 year ‘blitz’ phase of it’s contract, and as elected officials, Councillors should already be pushing for a review of this contract anyway. Sheffield City Council can change it’s mind on what Amey is allowed to do – if there is enough pressure!
