Shark Tank India: Dedicate 1 episode in Season 3 to Muslim Women Entrepreneurs

The Issue

Somebody that I looked upto, laughed on my face when I told him that I wanted to start a business. I was told I won't be able to handle a business. It was a blow to my confidence as a Muslim woman entrepreneur. Do Muslim Women Not Deserve To Run An Independent Business?

This is not only my story. Not just 1 Farhat that has seen this or been through this situation. There are thousands of women and girls like me who have the skill set and the ability to start and run a business but are not been taken seriously. India contains 12.84% of Muslim women entrepreneurs, yet they are struggling to sustain their businesses and scale it to newer heights.  Also, I am a mother of 2 daughters I want to break the generational curse and leave a legacy for the future generations to come.

Shark Tank India being a prestigious platform to give opportunities to many entrepreneurs. This petition therefore calls on Shark Tank India to highlight and recognize stories of women entrepreneurs especially Muslim Women Entrepreneurs by dedicating at least one episode to them in Season 3.

Please sign my petition to help  many more women like me to become independent and create a legacy for the next generation.
