Vigil & ‘question time’ at Sevenoaks Council Meeting

*Petition Supporters- Thank you so much!*
As you know, on Tuesday 23rd April 7pm at the Sevenoaks District Council meeting, a ceasefire motion presented by the Sevenoaks Green Party will be voted on by all Councillors.
This means we will officially request our representatives to write to the Secretary of State to call for:
• An immediate, permanent & lasting ceasefire
• Create safe routes for access to humanitarian aid in Gaza, protect aid workers & support civilians
• Release of all hostages
• Suspend all arms export licenses & military collaboration with Israel
• Suspend Israel from International sporting & music events
• Withdraw all public money from funds with investments in Israel
***
We are organising a peaceful vigil outside the Sevenoaks District Council offices beforehand that the councillors will (hopefully) walk past as they enter the building. If you are able to, please join us 6-6.45pm on 23rd April.
Bring teddy bears, children's shoes, flags and banners to add to the visual display.
Please write to your local Councillors to express your support for this motion & to show that Sevenoaks residents care about Palestine. Thank you
