My name is Youssef Boussetaoui, and I am the cousin of Youns El Bousseoui. Youns, a 39-year-old Moroccan-born man, was shot dead in Voghera, Italy on 20 July 2021 by Massimo Adriatici, a commissioner in charge of municipal security. 

Youns left behind a widow and two children, aged 5 and 8, who now demand justice.

The bullets that were used to kill Youns are prohibited in Italy.
There were surveillance cameras where Youns died, but strangely we are being told that they did not work at the time of the shooting or that they were pointing toward the opposite side of the street.

The lawyers for the Youns family have not been able to check the recordings for themselves, so it is possible that they contain something useful; perhaps someone is trying to block the truth.

Today commissioner Massimo Adriatici is under house arrest - despite the fact that he shot a person to death. And on 20 October, he could be set free.

We are asking for your help to get justice, both for Youns’s orphaned children and widow and on behalf of so many others out there. What happened to Youns could happen to any one of us tomorrow, and we want to prevent any further tragedies from taking place.
