Hate crimes towards people with disabilities are on the rise. The use of hateful langauge regarding disabilities must stop, it perpetrates the idea that people with disabilities are not worthy of respect. People with intellectual disabilities, their families and supporters have long protested its use in any form. Sephora and Kat Von D need to learn that words like this have consequences. People with intellectual disabilities are more often teased and bullied than any other group. They've made that more acceptable.
