The Issue

Bills protecting the 900,000 foreigners here illegally are headed for a vote in the New Jersey Assembly on Monday… pushed by Democrats at a cost of nearly $7 BILLION a year!
That’s about $1,600 out of every hard worker’s pocket. Enough is enough.

Instead of standing up for taxpayers and enforcing the law, Assembly Democrats are advancing a trio of immigration protection bills that would block information sharing with federal authorities, prevent local, county, and state law enforcement from assisting with deportations, and make it far harder for anyone here illegally to be identified or removed.

Illegal entry, visa overstays, and asylum abuse are not victimless technicalities - they are criminal actions. These bills would further weaken enforcement, protect those here illegally, and leave New Jerseyans to carry the burden.

This is a slap in the face to generations of legal immigrants who came here the right way, worked hard, followed the rules, and helped build the Garden State communities we are proud to call home. Laws only matter if they are enforced. Fairness only exists when the same rules apply to everyone.

New Jersey families are already struggling with rising costs, high taxes, and a government that too often puts ideology ahead of common sense. Expanding protections that make enforcement harder sends exactly the wrong message and deepens the burden on law-abiding residents.

We call on the Speaker of the General Assembly to pull Assembly Bills A4071, A4070 and A1743 before the February 23rd voting session and any future session. And if they come to the floor, we urge all 80 Assembly members to put New Jersey first, stand with legal citizens, and VOTE NO.

Stand with New Jersey’s hard-working legal citizens. Stand for the rule of law.

Sign this petition and then call Assembly Speaker Craig Coughlin’s office at (732) 855-7441 and ask him to stop the insanity.
