Thank you all for your support and attention to this issue. When I set up this petition, I hoped it could get 100 signatures but I wasn't sure that would happen. Now, we're at 93 and counting! It hasn't even been 48 hours and we're already close to a level of engagement I only quietly hoped for.

In the next few days, hopefully once we hit 100 signatures, I'll set up a meeting to discuss the petition with our building manager and talk about what further steps we as residents could take. What happens from there will depend on the outcome of that conversation.

The building manager has been fair and reasonable in my conversations with her, which I deeply appreciate. This mandate has come down from Bainbridge corporate and she is in the unfortunate position of having to enforce this new rule. When we spoke, she wasn't sure what the scope of opinions on this change would be. Now we know.

In the meantime, continue reaching out to your neighbors, ask if they've heard about the Fetch mandate, and encourage them to sign this petition. When such a large proportion of the building speaks up in unison against changes like these, it sends a powerful signal that can be heard all the way in Bainbridge's corporate boardroom.
