From Hollywood to Alabama, victims of child sexual abuse are coming forward and telling their stories. It sounds triumphant, but what no one says is that they are doing this because they have been denied legal justice due to statutes of limitations. Statutes of limitation on child sexual abuse keep victims out of court and keep abusers on the street, abusing more kids. Eliminating them is a simple and logical. But organizations with a long history of abusing children and covering their tracks have invested in lobbyists to keep this bill from passing. The only way to push it through is a massive show of public support. Please, get one person to sign this petition today. If everyone does that, legislators will start paying attention.
