Regarding the Washington Post article HERE , An increase in rent for low income families in subsidized housing is unacceptable. People on fixed incomes such as SSD, SSI, and SAGA, have less and less each year, as the cost of living rises. Retired, and disabled people, who have no way to increase their income, are already struggling to survive. We need adequate cost of living increases to our benefits, not increases in our rent. That small percentage you may propose, could mean we go without food. We cannot continue to shoulder the burden of the mismanagement of funds by our leaders. We implore you to reconsider this, and if proposed, we urge all members of congress to vote NO. Please sign this petition, and share it everywhere.
