We currently have a Hindu and Vedic Cultural Center located on Markham Woods Road in Longwood/Lake Mary area to serve our local Hindu community. In order to facilitate the events and programs to serve our local community, we need a Special Exception religious re-zoning approval with Seminole County.

There are currently Christian and Jewish places of worship on Markham Woods Road and in the local area, but not a Hindu or Vedic place of worship for our community. Preservation of our Hindu and Vedic culture is very important to our families and for our future generations.

We need this approval for the need of having our own place of worship. We humbly ask you to sign our petition in your support of the county's approval for the Special Exception Religious Zoning of our Hindu Vedic Cultural Center at 1498 Markham Woods Road, Longwood, FL 32779, Project 20-32000005, so that we may operate as a place of worship for our local Hindu community.
