Damian Lillard is a one of a kind athlete. He was drafted to Portland in 2012. The first round, 12th pick. 

From the start fans fell in love with Dame as Dame felt the love back. Dame has always stuck with Portland in whatever situations we were in, no matter how down we were. Dame stayed true to not only himself, but the organization. He truly is one of a kind.

 

Dame has been loyal for over 11 years now to the Portland Trail Blazers. No matter what situation we were in, Dame never thought about leaving. He wanted to be with us the entire journey. Of course the end goal is a championship for the city. That’s all Dame has on his mind. Is to win Portland a championship. 

This 2023 off season was the sell off season where our GMs and owner would give back to Dame as he has given back more than ever. We were going to get him a chance to win. Owner and GM forced Dame and the Blazers to tank last season, as they promised Dame they would use that high draft pick as a trade piece to help. They also told Dame he would be involved in making decisions on who he would like around him. Well, none of that happened. Owner and GM decided to keep that trade pick which resulted in Scoot Henderson. Scoot is a phenomenal player, but Dame would have liked that traded for a more veteran player and star. Dame already stated he doesn’t have an appetite to play with young players as he is 32 years young. The Blazers also did not make any signings during this free agency as well. It now seems like the owner and GM are doing this on purpose to force Dame to leave. 

Dame had a discussion with the Blazers organization on if they want to build around him to have a chance to win, or trade Dame to focus on their young stars. The Blazers organization chose to build around Dame as a promise. Well, none of that happened and fans are aware they’re trying to force Dame out and request a trade. They are also trying to make Dame look like the bad guy in this situation when none of this was his fault. Jody Allen who’s the teams owner has no interest in the team, and doesn’t care about what’s going on. That has been proven many times and is well known. The fans who invest all their time into this team now has to watch as a manger who doesn’t care forces out a once in a lifetime player in Damian Lillard. Along with our General Manager Joe Cronin. He also plays a role with Jody Allen in not helping out this team and staying true to his word and also the fans.

Portland fans, and also fans in general of NBA WANT Jody Allen fired and an owner like Phil Knight who we know would deeply care about the team and do what’s right. Phil has always shown true love to Portland and its team. He has tried buying the team before and Jody declined his offer which made fans even more mad. Someone like Jody who DOES NOT care about the team is messing up the journey with Damian Lillard.

 

All Dame and fans wanted was to have a chance to win with Dame. The blazers owner and general manager are going against the wishes and are upsetting fans on another level. 

PLEASE, LETS GET JODY ALLEN OUT OF OFFICE AND HAVE PHIL KNIGHT BUY THE PORTLAND TRAIL BLAZERS!
