🚨 URGENT: HELP SAVE ROSEBUD BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE 🚨

YGRR ActivistUnited States
May 14, 2026

We are devastated to share that Yankee Golden Retriever Rescue has reportedly decided to move forward with euthanizing Rosebud.

Time is critically limited. Supporters are asking the public to share Rosebud’s story immediately and demand that all available alternatives be fully explored before any irreversible decision is made.

Community members are deeply concerned because this decision was reportedly made after Rosebud’s trainer was banned from the property and after a staff member who offered to adopt and continue working with Rosebud was terminated.

Supporters had repeatedly requested an independent, unbiased behavioral evaluation for Rosebud. However, concerns have since been raised that the second behavioral assessment was conducted by an individual reportedly connected to both the original evaluator and the executive director, rather than by a fully independent third party.

Rosebud’s trainer has also reportedly received no further communication from the organization despite offering a lifetime of free training and expressing willingness to adopt Rosebud himself if all other placement options were exhausted before euthanasia.

Many people believe Rosebud deserves every reasonable opportunity for rehabilitation, placement, behavioral support, sanctuary consideration, or independent review before euthanasia is carried out.

For those who want to see the progress Rosebud has already made through training and structured support, please watch this video:

This petition is not about harassment or hostility. It is about transparency, compassion, due process, and giving qualified professionals and adopters the opportunity to help save Rosebud’s life.

We are urgently asking Yankee Golden Retriever Rescue to pause any euthanasia decision and allow truly independent professionals, rescues, trainers, adopters, or sanctuary resources the opportunity to intervene.

PLEASE SIGN. PLEASE SHARE. PLEASE ACT NOW FOR ROSEBUD.

Consider contacting YGRR and ask them to pause.
