Update: Rosebud Has More Time—Now She Needs Our Help

Rosebud’s story has deeply moved so many people, and we’re truly thankful and ecstatic that her euthanasia has been postponed. This is a powerful step forward—and it would not have been possible without your advocacy, your voices, and your unwavering support.

But our work is not finished.

We have formally submitted key demands to ensure Rosebud is given a fair and thorough opportunity, including requiring that any future behavioral assessment only takes place after a structured rehabilitation plan has been created, implemented, and given time to show progress—and that all future evaluations are conducted by new, impartial professionals.

At the same time, Rosebud urgently needs access to proper behavioral rehabilitation. This includes experienced trainers, behavior specialists, and the resources required to safely house and support a dog with her needs in a rescue setting.

This level of care is critical—and it comes with significant costs.
