How dare you economy whiners overlook the stakes of our democracy just for the sake of prices that will not go down under Trump's watch!

There is far too much at stake that is more important than whatever people whine about regarding the economy:

1. His threat to be a dictator on day one practically endangers our constitution, which is something that this country cannot afford to lose!
2. Those court cases against him have mostly collapsed, disproving the centuries' old philosophy that no one is above the law!
3. Women's rights that have already been damaged too severely for forgiveness are going to disproportionately suffer some more!
4. His massive deportation plan is going to deprive this country of jobs! On that topic let's not forget that congress killed an immigration reform bill specifically for Trump!
5. The climate crisis has already become something not worth denying, but without people in charge who are too rational to suck up to Trump, this country is most certainly going to be the worst place to live!

No matter what my grandfather thinks of Donald Trump, I implore my governor to protect the people of his state (of Ohio) from the threats that voters deliberately ignored! And I demand a law be passed to allow governors who govern states that Donald Trump won to provide similar protections to the citizens of their states!
