Thank you to everyone who has supported Chennan Fei’s struggle to remain in Scotland so far.
Unfortunately the fight goes on.
After her release from detention last year, Chennan’s case went for a Judicial Review which although was a positive outcome, the Home Office is maintaining their position that Chennan has no right to be in the UK.
She had lived here for more than half her life-she arrived in Scotland when she was 13 years old ——— Yet, she has no right?
She is the child of parents who ‘over stayed’ their visas and she is being punished for their mistakes. Why should the sins of the parents be visited on the child?
Chennan’s final Appeal Hearing will be on 20th December 2018 in Glasgow.
I urge you all to garner more support for this strong young woman who, despite her own troubles, continues to devote her time and her skills by volunteering with several charitable organisations in Glasgow.
