Stop Bodgers Tower and Recorder House Ilford Developments

Stop Bodgers Tower and Recorder House Ilford Developments
The Issue
We the undersigned believe that the 42 storey Bodgers Tower and the 13 storey Recorder House development schemes which have been given approval by both Redbridge Council and the Greater London Authority should be stopped from going ahead.
The main reasons are to do with public health and safety concerns especially at a time when this coronavirus epidemic is affecting places especially like Greater London which has such a high population density already.
Network Rail have themselves even warned about safety concerns with having a 42 storey tower block so close to a railway line.
The Recorder House scheme is also near a major school and there would be greater levels of pollution caused as a result of this housing being built and that would affect the children's health as there is a definite causal link between air pollution and childhood respiratory diseases.
Also these flats on both sites are being developed by a private company called Access Self Storage and as they are a profit making firm their properties are not at all likely to be affordable for local residents either.
