SECOND AMENDMENT AND BILL OF RIGHTS VIOLATED STOP CEDAR CITY UT DA

The Issue

A local Cedar City man went to a pawn shop in town to buy a gun. This is the start of a bad joke. NOPE! He was denied in the background check. He did not know why when he asked the pawn shop why. "They told him I don't know man you have to go find that out on your own. So, that's what this Cedar City man did. He found out that he had some traffic tickets that were close to 20 years old and they had failure to appear attached to them. As any good American he contacted a lawyer in that state and all the tickets and cases were dismissed. After some time went by he was able to get his license to drive again as those tickets prevented him from getting his driver's license. so with this sense of accomplishment, he had not had a driver's license for close to 20 years. He had a good meal and went to the pawn shop to get that gun that he really liked. Well, he was denied again. do to the background check. He asked them again why he had been denied again letting them know he had fixed everything he could think of that could stop him from owning a gun. He had never been a felon he had done stupid things when he was in his 20's. But nothing that would stop him from owning a gun. This Cedar City man searched high and low in every state he has ever lived in or been in and he found that he had 2 fines that he had to pay for some minor court fees. So, the Cedar City man paid them. Finally, this Cedar City man thought to himself. There is nothing out there I have checked and rechecked all of the United States of America there is nothing stopping me from buying a gun. The Cedar City man spent money to run a background check on himself, but nothing came back. So, the third time's the charm right? Nope, he was denied again for the third time. He put his hands up and was like, "What is it that is stopping me from getting a gun!!" As if he was asking God to send an angel down to help him. Will this time at the pawn shop the same person that was so short with him was like here try calling this number to find out why. It was the number to the ATF. A number he has called each time he was denied. but this time he would do the call with the Cedar City man's sister. To show that the ATF does not answer their calls. Will his hand hit the wrong number and someone answered the Cedar City man's call. He had hit the key that was if you are a gun dealer by accident. The Cedar City man was startled by the voice on the other end of the phone. It was an ATF agent, and the Cedar City man explained all that he had been through and reassured the ATF agent that he at no time in his life had ever been convicted of a felony.  The ATF agent had the Cedar City man fill out some paperwork and she would help the Cedar City man understand why he was getting denied. Finally, he thought to himself. the system is going to work. After a deep, DEEP dive into his background, the ATF agent could only come up with a case out of Minnesota where he was a dumb kid traveling through the state and shoplifted three VHS tapes and was assaulted by the Walmart secret shopper. For his trouble, he had been attacked from behind "jumped", and had his head put through a claw machine glass panel. With a pretty nasty concussion, he was arrested for shoplifting, and then when he was in front of the judge he pled guilty. The judge ordered him to pay a fine and to leave his county with a deferred probation sentence. so, this concussed Cedar City man did it. and never thought about this again. So now what do you think this Cedar City man does go and get that gun? Nope, he did what any good now adult Cedar City man would do. Get another lawyer to see what he can do to have this deferred probation sentence removed from his record. Well, as his lawyer was trying to find out what was going on. The Iron County Sheriff's Department showed up at his home and entered the property without a warrant as he was not home. they spoke to the Cedar City man's brother who did not know where he was and as the brother was just visiting and had no authority to allow the sheriff's any permission to be on the property. But he could call him for them so they could resolve any issues. In the end, the Cedar City man knows he did not do anything wrong and that he was doing everything to fix any issues that had come up when he was trying to own a gun under the Second Amendment and to exercise his bill of rights of the pursuit of happiness. The Cedar City man agreed to meet the sheriff at their office. not thinking there was anything wrong. As he is still waiting to find out what is going on in the other state. it had only been 3 weeks since the talk with the ATF and getting a lawyer. They had told him that they had some questions about him trying to buy a gun. under the advice of his family, he had the out-of-state lawyer do all the talking and the Cedar City man kept his mouth shut. the sheriff told the out-of-state lawyer he had no jurisdiction and they were not going to listen to him and they asked the Cedar City man to answer their questions. before the sheriff hung up the phone on the out-of-state lawyer. The lawyer told the Cedar City man to shut up and plead the 5th the sheriff looked at the Cedar City man after they had ended the call with the out-of-state against the wishes of the Cedar City man. and started to ask him questions. But the Cedar City man did what his lawyer told him to do "I plead the 5th as you are disrespecting me, my lawyer, and the oath you have taken to uphold the Constitution... BOOK ME!!"

Cedar City man has been out on bond 15 hours after he was booked. and has been going to Zoom Court to wait for his time for his preliminary hearing which is coming up on Aug. 12, 2024, in Cedar City. at 10:45 am the 5th district court.

This Proud American is now facing three felony counts for Allegedly buying a gun 3 times and being in control of a firearm as a felon in violation of Utah law. And filling out the paperwork with the knowledge of being a felon. However, he has never once been a FELON to loose his right to own a gun.

This is the time to act as the government is overstepping their authority when it comes to firearms and is trying to trump up charges to prevent this none felon to becoming a felon to stop him from ever owning a firearm. which is a violation of the Second Amendment and the Cedar City man's unalienable rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of HAPPINESS!
