After 39 games including the visa issue to start the season, Nika Mühl finally scored her first points in the WNBA with a steal and a fast break lay-up score on the 40th and final game of the regular season.
As our Seattle Storm starters were given some extra rest in preparation for the first round of the 2024 WNBA Playoffs, Nika Mühl played good enough for 14 minutes, 2 rebounds, 3 assists, and 1 steal that immediately led to her first 2 points, which will hopefully be the first of many in her professional basketball career.
At that night, Seattle Storm defeated the Phoenix Mercury on the road 89-70 to finish the regular season record at 25-15 good enough as the fifth seed as they travel to the fourth seeded Las Vegas Aces in the best-of-3 playoff series, starting on Sunday night at 7:00 PM PT.
Thank you to all of you who have signed the petition that became a success in fulfilling the goal to grant Nika Mühl some extra minutes with her first basket made. Without further ado, I am proud to say that this petition is officially closed with a victory.
