Despite the safety signs and the rangers constantly telling people to stay away from the sea lions, they don’t seem to know how to listen. When humans get too close to the pups it causes distress on the moms and they can potentially abandon their pups which can result in them dying. Save our sea lions, save our beach, save a freaking life. Because we all know, if someone gets bit, it’s the animal that will be dealt with, not the human. Use your brain people. Enjoy things from afar. Respect our wildlife and stay away from the sea lions! This petition is to get the city to entirely close off the where the sea lions are to the public!
