We are the Bonaventure Visionaries, a junior youth group (ages 11-14) based in Weston, Florida. We have noticed an upcoming problem in our community: more and more people are becoming addicted to their screens and starting to become more isolated from society. This problem is affecting youth and parents alike and we want to fix that! Our goal is to create a way for our community to reconnect with one another. 
We propose a screen-free day on Saturday, September 12th, 2026 from 12am until 11:59pm.

Here are some guidelines for you to follow:

• No Phones
• No Social media
• No Computer
• No Digital Watches
• No iPads
• No Air Pods
• No TV's
• No Gaming Consoles of any sorts
• No Tablets

Please do not use any devices that have blue light.

Examples of what you CAN do are:

• Read a book
• Hang-Out with friends
• Play board games
• Make dances
• Go to the pool/beach
• Play outside
