Hi everyone,

Thank you again for your dedication to the matters of the Bird Street and Blenheim Road Special Use Project applications. The Blenheim Road Special Use Permit application was pulled by the landowner leaving only the Bird Street Special Use Permit Application on the table. Tonight, Town Council is expected to vote on the matter. The vote is also expected to require a tiebreaker decision from Mayor Ron Smith.

Below are details for the meeting if you are interested in attending, either in person or virtually. It is likely this meeting will be heavily attended. With that in mind, it is recommended to arrive about 15 minutes early to insure access. I am unable to attach the meeting agenda on this post directly, however I have included a link to the town website where you can view and print the agenda as needed.

The Scottsville Town Council meets in Regular Session on the third Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m. (on Tuesday if that Monday is a state holiday).

Remote access for the public is available online by going to Zoom.com and clicking on "Join Meeting", or by calling 301-715-8592, then entering the meeting ID 872-9931-0821 and pass code 1744.

If you have any questions, concerns or comments, please feel free to send them. This change.org site has a comment section for each post, and I believe replies to this email will be directed to the comment sections.

Over the last couple of days, many comments and a Daily Progress article have alluded to a "misinformation" campaign. Please know that information posted through these updates has been researched to the best of our abilities. If you are interested in seeing documents, checking population statistics, ordinances, or any facts and figures covered through these updates to date, let us know. We are happy to provide that information, or share the resources from which they came.

Scottsville is like many communities dealing with matters where the outcome can have a pivotal impact on the community's future. There will be many opinions and beliefs on what is right and wrong. These issues can be divisive in nature. However, at the same time, this issue helps to show that the community in and around Scottsville cares about its future. We appreciate everyone who has respectfully supported the mission of responsible development in Scottsville through our petition, our email campaign, and all those who have attended the many community meetings over the last few months. Thank you.

We look forward to hearing a possible descision on this issue tonight.

Respectfully,

Citizens for Responsible Development in Scottsville, VA
