I received a note from NHS Lanarkshire – the main news is that a new Practice has been successful in their bid to take over the Greenhills operation - Drs Rehman & Lal (Lanarkshire Medical Group).

Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) regulations (TUPE) apply to all existing practice-employed staff at Greenhills. That means the new GPs will take responsibility for staff who will transfer to the new employer on existing terms and conditions.

NHS Lanarkshire is now concentrating on supporting the transition between the outgoing partners and Drs Rehman & Lal. The handover date is scheduled to be 1st November 2018, unless an alternative date is agreed.
