Extend Driving Theory Test Certificates! Just as MOT Tests have been extended!

The Issue

Learner drivers across the UK have had driving tests cancelled for various reasons ie, poor weather conditions. However, from March 2020 every test has been cancelled for those who are not key workers due to the coronavirus. A lot of us in this position have had their driving theory test certificate expire or is due to expire.

It has been physically impossible to sit a driving test over these few months. MOT tests have been extended given the current circumstances. It is only fair that theory test certificates are treated with the same level of compassion.

We look to have these theory test certificates extended given the circumstances which have been completely out with our control! DVSA have advised that there is nothing that can be done other than paying again and re booking to sit another test.

I urge you to help me challenge this decision and take this further.

Please sign this petition, you may not be a learner driver but there are so many of us who need your help.
