DVSA

The Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) is an executive agency of the UK Department for Transport. It is responsible for conducting practical driving tests and theory tests for drivers in various categories, including car and motorcycle drivers, lorry, bus, and coach drivers. Moreover, it carries out inspections for vehicles to ensure they meet the required safety and environmental standards, and oversees the MOT (Ministry of Transport) test. The DVSA also oversees training and conducts assessments for driving instructors and regulates heavy goods vehicle (HGV) operators. All these activities are aimed at improving the road safety in the United Kingdom.
