If you haven't heard the AMAZING news - Federal Health Minister Peter Dutton fast tracked the approval of ABRAXANE and it will now be available on the PBS from the 1st November. This is an amazing result. A quote from the Department of Health Website: “Following agreement of pricing and listing arrangements with the pharmaceutical company, the Government has taken less than two months to consider the listing, making it one of the fastest listing approvals for a high cost medicine in recent years,” Mr Dutton said. In November, I am participating in the Bedside to Bench 30 Day TLC Challenge to raise much needed funding for the Pancreatic Cancer Nurse Network. It's 30 days of eating a little healthier, getting a little more exercise and also making sure you are up to date with all of your medical check-ups. After all - prevention is better than a cure. There are two ways that you too can support the Pancreatic Cancer Nurse Network. 1. You can make a donation and support me in my TLC Challenge by following this link http://makingadifference.gofundraise.com.au/page/PeoplePower 2. You can join my team, or start your own fundraising team. All you need to do is register at http://www.30daytlc.com/register/ and the Bedside to Bench team will support you all of the way - just as they have supported me every step of the way in my own mission to improve outcomes for pancreatic cancer patients. Thank you all and if you need assistance please visit www.bedsidetobench.com
