Due to COVID-19 pandemic crisis, many Australians and international students studying at USYD are getting impacted, resulting in nearly 80,000 students not gaining the same level of teaching from the university, meaning the loss of access to crucial facilities, resources and tools.

In addition to the fact that the university does not need as much money to run as everything is online now and critical facilities closed (i.e. library). Hence, students should be discounted, especially international student body, which is the third-largest exporter for Australia, generating more than 30 billion dollars in revenue each year. While international students body contributes to the majority of university fund and Australia economy, the University of Sydney appears to act as if this lack of resources has no impact on the tuition we pay for this semester. So far, we have not seen any uni announcement in regards to tuition fee refund despite this evident drop in teaching quality. 

We as students feel this situation unrighteous and outrageous, hence If you agree to proceed with partial refund, please sign this petition so we will have a chance to take further action.
