Sagar V started this petition to Scott Morrison (Federal Member for Cook) and

Australia had already lost 500M+ animals in 2 months and the count is increasing. Now they're going to kill 10K+ camels to save water. If the government really cares about animals, they should protect the camels.

Quoting The Independent, "More than 10,000 camels will be shot by professional shooters in helicopters to prevent them from drinking too much water in drought-afflicted South Australia. The shooters will begin the cull on Wednesday following an order from Aboriginal leaders in the Anangu Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara (APY) lands."

Here's a link to another news which shows how corporates makes billions by selling Australia's water. If you really want to save the water, keep the corporates away from the water resources instead of killing innocent animals.

Earth doesn't belongs to just humans. All creatures have equal right to live here. Humans consume more water than any other animals for drinking, cooking, bathing, washing cars, home, etc. Camels doesn't consume that much water.

Like humans, animals also require water to live. Blaming them for drinking water shows another level of stupidity and/or greediness.

Killing poor and innocent animals can't be justified and we, a group of animal lovers around the world is requesting Australian government to protect those poor, beautiful innocent animals.
