Did you know that only 9% of what goes into our recycle bins, is actually recycled? Well it's true! A massive, 91% of recycled waste, ends up either in landfill, or off in the natural environment as litter, eventually blowing into the ocean and causing harm to the sea life. 

Is is ESSENTIAL for us to act on this problem as soon as possible, to save our environment and reduce plastic waste. The solution? By increasing the price of landfill, forcing Australia to find other ways of using recycled waste. Or we could simply just stop using as much single-use plastic. We did this with plastic bags and plastic coffee cups! How about we do this for other things too, reducing the amount of waste that ends up in landfill and saving the environment!
