All Sexual Assault convictions should be available to employers

The issue

Currently criminals with convictions of Sexual Violence are able to have the conviction shown only on police records, and not in police checks obtained by employers.

As a direct result of this, there are criminals with convictions of sexual assault and spiking that are still able to work in bars, pubs, clubs and hotels supplying alcohol to potential victims.

These records should be made available to all employers and potential employers of these criminals.

With this change in place we can continue to keep work environments and subsequently the community safe.
