So, we signed the petition and we worked hard to show the board that we want Mrs. Husar to stay. Well, if we just sit here and do nothing, Will Mrs. Husar be gone in a year and not of her own doing? It is in our hands. Ask yourself these questions. How is the superintendent currently treating her since she is back? Does the board have some personal alliance with the superintendent that is against the wishes of the people? Remember they are his boss, he is not their boss. How can the board renew the contract of a person who performs this way? He makes over $100k. He has clearly exampled that he cannot do his job professionally. So extend the contract???? What is the board’s true intentions? To renew 3 to 5 years eventually? The board stated that they would do what is best for all people involved. What about the tax payers and what we want for the education in Palmerton? How many law suits have been brought against the school district thus far and what is the cost? More are coming.
